Last night we finished watching our way through Miss Scarlet & the Duke Season 4:



This is a TV show genre my bride enjoys greatly. With few exceptions, I'm not too fond of them.

This is a rare exception. Good stuff! And interesting characters, not just the leads but also many of the supporting characters are very interesting.

It is good! It is good! RECOMMENDED It is good!

The general concept is that, when her father dies, Eliza Scarlet inherits his private detective business...becoming Victorian London's first female detective. London is not ready for it!

A Vietnamese double agent is explaining his loyalty to the communist cause in flashbacks to his North Vietnamese interrogators by how he had infiltrated the South Vietnamese police and CIA, then had to flee to America at the end of the war with the general he despised but was planted with. Very good dark comedy.

I wonder if Ramón Rodríguez knows Spanish? Will Trent does not, but has learned this season. In this episode it is put to the test. Ramón Rodríguez does a wonderful native Georgian accent speaking newbie Spanish.

Only one episode to go and Shaun Murphy will move on. Meanwhile, so many stories have popped up that may require tissues to dry the eyes. No spoilers.

I'm watching a British sitcom from the 90s (I think) called Bread

It's very of its time so don't bother watching it if your averse to casual misogyny and overt and varied political incorrectness

Otherwise you should watch it its really funny

Young Sheldon
The torture is a family photo, but it is interrupted at the end of the episode when the family learns George (husband/dad) has died. Not a spoiler. We knew it was going to happen at some point.
I typed quite a lot about this episode, but replace my thoughts with the IMDB description. Everyone deals with grief differently.
Sheldon is typing his memoir, so initially, we see clips from the show. Amy periodically reminds Sheldon he needs to get ready for their son Leonard's soccer match. Sheldon goes from "not going" to not only going, but also wearing a school sweatshirt/jersey, which moments before he emphatically said he would not wear. Between these interruptions, Sheldon works on how his family deals with changes, and Sheldon arriving at CalTech.

I enjoyed the series finale of Young Sheldon. I'm certain there are people that will not enjoy it.

Eerie, Indiana

Zombies In PJ's

This is one of the zaniest episodes. A commercial turns people into consumer zombies when they fall asleep. I like how insane it feels. Pretty good ending too.

Reality Takes A Holiday

I feel the concept is better than the execution. The only thing that really worked for me was Dash trying to steal show.

Dash is one of the main reasons I wish Eerie, Indiana had gotten a second season. His sometimes friend, sometimes rival quality, and mysterious origins, had a lot of potential. It's a shame it was just one season, although it got a spinoff that I'll check out someday, called The Other Dimension.

Eerie, Indiana is a mostly good show if you like 90s TV. It had it's own weird vibe distinct from Goosebumps or Are You Afraid of the Dark?.
