Death Wish (2018) or as I like to call it, Crazy Batman Wannabe Tortures and Kills People. That scene where he cuts that guy open with surgical precision and pours brake fluid into the wound was beyond the pale--nobody should be tortured like that, I don't care what they did.

Thing is, Willis already MADE this movie, it was called Unbreakable, and in that he really WAS a quasi super hero.

The original Death Wish (and its four sequels) was far more disturbing. DW 4 & 5 were the “tame” ones. Michael Winner, director of the first three Bronson-era DW’s, had a penchant for having brutal gang rape scenes (DW3 had a scene in which the victim was played by Winner’s then-partner)

For me, The Day After would have to be the most disturbing.

One other thing that made this film disturbing to me was that I could feel that the all white audience was loving it, as if this is what Trump supporting Red America wants.

The audience stood up and cheered at the end back in '74 when I saw the original.

Oh gosh, yes. I had to watch that in a class I took in high school, and it's a significant part of why I'm a vegetarian now.

Also, The Cove, a documentary about dolphin slaughter in Taiji, another film I had to watch in that class. I can't even look at a dolphin without crying and shaking now.

I've not seen this, but I'm guessing it exposes what goes on in food processing plants. Something I think I'd rather not know about.

I don't usually watch shocking or disturbing movies. I have watched a few Dingo Pictures, Spark Plug Entertainment and Video Briquendo videos where the shocking and disturbing thing is how animated movies this bad even got made.

Probably The 120 Days of Sodom, even though i was kinda dissappointed since i read the book first which makes the movie look like Disney Land by comparison.

There are definitely more disturbing movies, but what comes to mind is the first time I saw Blue Velvet in 1986. Dennis Hopper was seriously frightening and disturbing to me. Also, the scene where Roy Orbison's In Dreams is the sound track, when Kyle gets beaten up.

A movie called philosophy of a knife.
Couldn't watch it. Only made it through about 15 minutes of it.
