My favourite actor, David Hess, who played murderous psychopath Krug Stillo from The Last House on the Left died yesterday of a heart attack. He was 69.

Hess generally played heavies and psychopaths on screen but was also a very accomplished musician in his own right, releasing several CDs and writing a number of famous songs for artists like Elvis Presley. Andy Williams and Sal Mineo, amongst others. His version of "Speedy Gonzales" (under the pseudonym David Dante) attained considerable success in the Phillippines, reaching #2 in the charts.

I'm very sorry to hear that. It's tough to lose an icon that you admire and look up to. He was a very talented man as well. RIP
