I cosplay all the time. Most recently i zombiefied my Katniss everdeen outfit and went to zombie walk in my city. Next week I am off to a convention and will be dressed at a UNIT officer and my cosplay partner is going as the 11th doctor. Then day 2 of the convention, I will most likely just doing my Amelia pond cosplay although considering putting together a river song outfit.

I cosplay I've gotten a couple of friends into it too so we are starting to form groups now instead of cosplaying on our own. It's fun.
I've got a few planned for this year. For Manga Night next week I am being Bard from Black Butler. Then for Ayacon in August i'm planning on Cass from Fallout New Vegas, Bard (again!) and Midorima from Kuroko's Basketball. Maybe Batwoman if I can lose some more weight in time. If not, I will save Batwoman for Fushicon (assuming it's running this year!)

*raises hand* Newbie cosplayer here I live in Australia, and will be going to the Animania and SMASH conventions in Sydney as Rukia from Bleach (the school uniform version, as I really can't afford her Soul Reaper uniform though I'll buy it as soon as I get a part-time job... if I can, that is). I also want to be Light from Death Note in the future, as he's a pretty cool character and I'm pretty sure I can act maniacally enough to pull it off.

Sometimes, my 'thrifting' has also led to some stuff that I later use for cosplay; always a good thing on a budget.
I may have a Finn costume as well, too.

I will have Ness from Earthbound as one of my costumes for Fanime in San Jose, how do I act in character like him? Since I know only little about Earthbound the game.
