I thought it had a lousy start, but finished well.

South Africa has a habit of taking movies that even we're done milking with sequels, and making sequels (Starship Troopers3, Home Alone4). I also heard on 60 minutes how an obscure musician from Michigan was a superstar over there and didn't even know it. The clips I heard of him singing weren't impressive at all.

Two movies I remember being outstandingly awful are Date Movie and Epic Movie. Both are movies that I was dragged into, and both of which follow the same dumb formula of mixing characters from popular movies with over-the-top toilet humor and silly MTV parodies, over and over again. Now don't get me wrong, I'm someone who can typically still be fairly entertained by a less-than-stellar comedy, but these were really painful to watch.

EDIT: Whoops, I realized I mistook this for the "Worst Films You've EVER Seen" thread. For the sake of this thread, I'd have to go with the masses and say the Twilight series.

Plan 9 From Outer Space

I admit I saw this one. I never realized sauce pan lids were capable of spreading panic nor the military couldn't shoot worth crap and yet they scared them off. Hundreds of rockets and barely any hits and something about jet fighters. They never used the jet fighters. Not to mention a weapon that makes anything the light of the sun touches burn to oblivion. Plot-hole: If they knew the weapon worked, why haven't they tested it?

It doesn't really count according to your thread, because I don't want to watch them.
But the worst movies I've never seen are Twilight 2-5. Read terrible things about the first one, so decided to watch it just to know what it was. Awful film, in every way.
So I didn't watch any of the other ones.

The only reason I don't want to watch the twilight films is because I don't care about gay vampires and werewolves fighting over some girl. Also vampires are supposed to BURN in sunlight not sparkle. I can think of plenty of other depressing reasons but this video summed it up for me.
