I would probably feel surprised, but flattered.

Romana II. I had a crush on her too. She was bubbly. I met Tom Baker at a Dr. Who convention in the 80s and ask him autograph a picture of him and Romana II. I felt so awkward because of their real life history. I worried I was being rude.

Concerning your question, I know I would stammer something and then go mute. Just like when I talk to any woman I like. I don't think I could hold anyone's attention beyond the initial hello. I would then go home and watch.... let's say Wonderfalls. The other problem is I would come away having no idea if I was annoying or if they actually liked me. Just is life.

I've been giving this question a bit of thought. (I like your questions, Arthur Dent! )
It's a little hard to imagine, considering they're fictional, so unlike with a celeb crush it couldn't happen. I have had a few dreams about Eun-Jin, but there was nothing romantic about them. Rather, I admired her and tried to prove myself good enough to be accepted by her, so she'd let me join; I saw that as the only way she'd notice me. In the dream it felt more like I looked up at her than had a crush. I was eager to met her and have her acceptance but I was nervous about messing it up and elt shy around her.

Uhm… If Sasha or Eun-Jin (I’ll focus on the two that were at least played by real people, not just cartoon/comics characters), somehow has been real and asked me out, my first thought would be if it was a set-up.
I might easily panic from being so nervous around them that I might say no just so I could go away and breathe. And then I’d really really regret it!
Until I have had at least one chat with someone I’m crushing on or admiring, I have a real hard time being calm around them, or even greet them.

Hopefully I would have been able to croak a "yes!"

Many, many, many crushes on guys from books. Including, amusingly enough, Arthur Dent. Don't know what it was I found so appealing--it was nearly 30 years ago that I read all those books--but I was charmed.
