If you don't know this already, the director of Blade Runner 2049 is in pre-production for a remake of Dune which is currently in development at Universal Pictures.
He has also been rumored to be the director of a possible Cleopatra remake for Sony.

Predestination
A man who works as a timetravelling federal agent, goes back in time working undercover as a bartender to recruit himself, he then takes himself - who was a woman at the time, back to meet themselves, while his younger self makes out with him/herself, he sneaks off to kidnap his/her baby and giving it to the orphanage, which means he/she gave birth to him/herself (i'm trying not to giggle writing this), then he/her retires back in 1975 after failing to stop a terrorist in 1975 - who was him/herself...
