Might be better to focus on associated with introverts & introvert hobbies.
You might get some aspergers along (probably some undiagnosed too).
I know it seems difficult, but introverts have hobbies too.
A good way to start is by finding an online place where introverts hang out, then they have an occasional real life meet up.
I don't have trouble meeting people, but the NT's I come across are so fickle.
Presently I'm moving to an isolated area, just hoping some people out in small towns will be a little more honest.
Less mainstream. But I definitely hope to focus on universities or some Science Lab locations, to hopefully meet a smart introvert type in the future.

For me it's not the stranger danger thing, it's the too peopley thing  I don't socialize unless it's absolutely unavoidable. I love the internet because it means I don't have to interact face to face.

We have an Aspie social club where I live in NCQ but I've never attended.
Part of me is scared I won't know anyone and the other part is scared that I will. :|

Uhh, well I went to an Aspie meetup in Sydney a couple of weeks ago, without knowing anyone. And it worked out fine.

You'll need to overcome these "what if" thoughts if you want to meet new people.

Hi,

I'm down on the South Coast of NSW - nearest town Nowra. Be happy to join up with anyone for coffee. Diagnosed Aspie.

Alison

I am nicely nestled between Sydney and Nowra in Wollongong. I too would be happy to meet up for a coffee sometime. Don't mind travelling south a bit as I love to wander.

Have PM'd re: a meetup Jozie. Been a long time since I met up with another Aspie face-to-face, hope I don't scare you.
Hugs Alison

Hi from Townsville (Brownsville) :D
It is raining cats and dogs at the moment and we sure do need it.
Are there any Aspies on this forum from Townsville?

^ No, but I am from a hick town in north coast Queensland.

Is Townsville still having gang trouble?
I've always been told to avoid it like the plague, so will normally bypass it altogether when I travel.

Best city to live in the world in my opinion. No gangs here.

A couple of us lady Aspies are having a meet and greet at 10:00am on the 28th Feb at the Milk and Honey Cafe near the Lighthouse at Kiama, NSW South Coast. Any other members in the area or lurking here are welcome to join us.

Being Aspies and not given to much idle chitty chatter or small talk, will probably be just "Hi" drink coffee and "Bye". :) But hope to make an effort to do more.

Hugs Alison
