I presume this is the proper forum for introducing oneself to the community, so here is my introduction. My wife, Dossa, has been a submitter to this forum for a while now, and managed to get me to sign on and share with the community. I have to add at this point that I am not an aspie, nor do I possess any autism spectrum disorders. However, my wife has been recently diagnosed with Asperger's, I work in a school with several autistic children, and have other family members who are autistic. Additionally, at least one of the students in my martial arts class has Asperger's. I would like to add, however, that while I do not have Asperger's, I am hardly one that could be called "neurotypical." I decided to join the forum to get better insight into my wife's experience and to put my two cents in when so motivated. I must warn you all, I tend to post and write sporadically as I have serious ADHD moments. That, coupled with OCD makes me want to post, but take a while to do so as I can get overwhelmed with wondering what to write. Did I mention that I tend to wordiness? I am sure there is more that I could add, for example, I am an internet DeeJay on Darkside Radio, but that is not really necessary for this intro. Thanks for reading.
