Hey, cool site you've got here. Guess I should introduce myself...my name's Emily. 21, about to graduate from a tiny college in a tiny town in Washington. Originally from the bay area, CA though. I was diagnosed with Nonverbal learning disorder (easy name, huh? ;o) a few years back. Some people think it's a mild form of AS, others seem to think it's the same thing. I've thought about getting diagnosed with AS (then SOMEone will finally have heard of "what I have"!) but I'm not sure how much good it would do me, except to have some closure. I've been looking through the posts and I can definitely relate to most of what y'all are discussing here...good to find a like-minded group!
