greetings!

I just joined a few days ago, but forgot to introduce myself. My name is Jim, I'm from upstate NY, and actually found this site a few months ago. From groups on facebook. I've come to the conclusion that, while I haven't been officially diagnosed, I seem to have quite a bit in common with those on the spectrum. As a result, I've decided that I'm unofficially Aspie, and thought it'd be beneficial to join a discussion site. I'll try to participate as often as possible, though I am always a bit shy no matter what. I'm glad I found this, and people seem to be pretty cool so far. Hope to find some more people to chat with on a one on one basis. ttyl!

Welcome Taliesin! I'm new as well and have read some amazingly helpful posts here. I was just recently diagnosed (Nov. 9th) and at 35, I am so relieved! I didn't need the diagnosis after reading several books and doing some intensive research online and more. So again, welcome. :0)
