Hello, I'm Louisa and I rather new to all this. I'm a female in my mid 30's and I'm seeing my GP tomorrow about a possible diagnosis of Aspergers. It was suggested that I might have it by some friends who also have Aspergers and noticed I have a lot of the same features and behaviours. I also have a confirmed diagnosis of dyslexia, dyspraxia, and “Mears-Irlen” syndrome or Visual Stress syndrome.
Anyway, just wanted to say hello and thank you for this forum for existing. It's been helpful over the past few weeks in looking in Aspergers and various traits and being able to say a lot of the time - "Hey I do that too!". Hopefully when I see the GP tomorrow it will make things a bit smoother when I can present examples to them.
