How do you become a moderator?

You have to escape the clutches of evil, rescue the maiden from the tower, find the Sword of Whatever, trek through the dark twisted jungle, cross the burning bridge, outrun the hungry cannibals, climb the forsaken mountain and slay the dragon at the top.

You will then be presented with a moderator badge for your courage and bravery.

There is more truth to this than people may realise. :lol:

Those who WANT to become a moderator are never picked by Alex. It is too much of a red flag that they seek power (according to Alex anyway). Mods are either directly selected by Alex or more usually we (the existing active mod team) give him suggestions for potential candidates.

This was also true of network and sysadmins generally, in the various IT departments I've worked in (sometimes as network or system admin, but I can't talk about that :wink: ).
