Like in accounting or calculus

For example looking at a chart makes me confused. Seeing several rules for derivatives in a question is also confusing.
However something like finance isn't confusing its more straight forward with formulas.

Khan Academy and YouTube helped me with Calculus, I made a 100 on every assignment but failed my exams because I couldn't retain the information.

It’s easier if you manage to proceed gaily forward.

The best way would be to practice. The more you practice the problems, the better you'll be at retaining the information.
