What's a way to find a job at a networking event?

I keep hearing that networking events lead to job leads more as opposed to the stupid mundane job boards. What are some ways to get leads that lead to getting the job and are there any networking events for those that have mental disabilities? Should I go to asperger meetups to also seek jobs too?

Man this job hunt sucks. By the way, trying to look for a job in music or something in Human Resources, Social Media or something.
