Which companies and offer telecommuting unskilled labor jobs?

Google "remote jobs from home" and see what comes up. Be aware of the terminology in question. There is a difference between "Remote job" and "Remote Job, Michigan," and "Remote job, Ann Arbor, Michigan."

Remote job means that you may work from anywhere.

Remote job, Michigan means that you may work from anywhere within the state of Michigan.

Remote job, Ann Arbor Michigan, means that you may work from home so long as you reside in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

You may also encounter the term hybrid. Hybrid means that part of the job will be remote. The rest will be at the employer's location.

I'd be cautious about those sorts of jobs. There are real ones, but most of the real ones were outsourced to parts of the world where the cost of living is very low.

That's not to say that they don't exist, but there are a ton of scams out there and jobs that pay far less than they should. It's significantly better with skills, but that's not terribly relevant.

Seems to be a bit of an oxymoron. How is anyone going to perform unskilled labour remotely? Impossible to lift and move things, stack things, clean things, sort things, throw things out etc remotely UNLESS perhaps you're piloting a drone/robot remotely that's doing the work on site, but then that would become very highly skilled technical remote labour vs. unskilled.

You'll find that entry level remote work jobs are going to be in fields like customer service or basic technical support or telemarketing, not unskilled labour. It's impossible to be hired to stock shelves or unload trucks remotely or clean up construction sites remotely.

There are jobs, they tend to be things like data entry that are just mindless repetitive, but can't yet be automated.

Which may be low skilled/knowledge jobs but they’re not unskilled labour. There is no labourer on this planet that sits at a desk and screen. Labour is physical work.. literal Force (Newtons) X distance (in meters) = Work (measured in joules)

In the US we typically consider that to be labor. At any rate, I don't think that it's particularly relevant whether to refer to it as labor or not. Labor is work, and things can be laborious like entering data into spread sheets.

Weird.

Here in Canada if you say you’re looking for a labour job it automatically means Manual Labour job.
