You reminded me of a song from Command and Conquer staremaster! It's a very peaceful song that doesn't fit the game but I absolutely love it.

I have the soundtracks for Super Mario 64, Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, Mario Galaxy, and Skyward Sword on my iPod. I've also got The Greatest Video Game Music on it, with the stuff performed by the London Philharmonic Orchestra. It includes the Angry Birds theme

I love the music from Final Fantasy! I'm a gourmet for Uematsu's work, but I love Hamauzu's compositions for Final Fantasy XIII as well.

I find the 'your game is loading so very slowly because you've got 3.5gig of mods in it' music from Sims 2 very relaxing. It's actually the only game music tolerable to me, as music in general is very unpleasant since CFIDS came into my life.

Even though it seems like I've only played only 10% of what you guys seem to have played, I'm also younger than the median age here, too; so here's just a few songs that are a part of my own childhood. And even though I had trouble at first making this list, to say that this is the "tip of the iceberg" would be a woefully inadequate way describe how much more amazing VGM I know about now that I've thought about it.

Final Fantasy music is wonderful.

I'm always humming along to any game with music in it. I like Sim City music a lot. It relaxes me.

i very much like that song, and i like the instrumentality of it as well.

i think that some of the music in "pharaoh" is very well composed and performed.
