“Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They're not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
-Steve Jobs
And on top of that when a person can have this much fun at age 54, who the hell wants to BE the peg that FITS in the hole of hell..OF LIFE....
Whatever the hell I am IT WORKS AND THAT'S AN IRREFUTABLE FACT.
I didn't make well over a hundred gorgeous smiling girls happy like THAT WITHOUT SOMETHING UNIQUE and special about ME.
Like I said, It Just don't get any better than this...
'Call me back' when you are age 54 and tell me if you can do THAT.
Oh yeah, and let's see if you go to the gym and LEG PRESS 930 LBS with your legs 12 times like I did tonight, and in case you missed IT here is the irrefutable evidence of one videoed slow rep. when I was 'just' at 810LBS two months ago with my female gym attendant friend exclaiming 'HOLY SH**'. The other 11 reps. are evidenced in high-definition panoramic view in the comment section of the Youtube video below, just in case you missed THAT EVIDENCE earlier in the thread...too...
Dude or dudette.. or whatever you are.. I don't wanna be anyone but me, and no matter who or WHAT you are, I can only hope you feel the same way about YOU.

And herein lies your problem with reality. Tee universe is the way it is because this is the way it is, one set of rules leads to another. The issue is one of perception. You see the universe from a top down approach, rather than as a continuum of events each determining the subsequent events.

Badger your second to last post sums it up perfectly for me. What I find worrying is the attitude of some fundamental Christians who rather than blame their god for misfortune, instead blame the individual or society, defending God's actions as righteous. It seems to me that given the opportunity these people would install a biblical regime not unlike ISIS.
Precisely; it's almost as if the belief system has been designed to and (ironically) evolved over time to deliberately swerve logical arguments against it and counteract them with unproveable retorts I suppose when the answer is basically "because magic", fact and reality-based arguments will never win.

It is how God wants it to be.
It is fair enough to say that because there is order there must be an orderer. It is an inescapable conclusion based on science (observation, experiment, etc.). However, Mr So-fisticated, you are wasting your time on these ideological zealots because they have already narcissistically defined "reality", "truth", "science" as that which agrees with their ideological presumption... nothing at all to do with "pedestrian" observation, experiment and all that.
The egomaniacal nutcases have had every opportunity to demonstrate their total disregard for any kind of science which they have done in Spades.
I really got to hate narcissists when I was a diminutive odd-bod in Primary School. The playground bullies would "let" you be in their gang if you'd say any stupid thing convenient to their ambitions. I still hate narcissists. More recently I've got to hate "mental narcissists" who imagine that they can tailor "reality" to be whatever they want it to be.
I've been away but I'll be back tomorrow if I can.
Addendum: There cannot be any more "mysterious way" than the demonstrably impossible. Why is a demonstrably impossible "natural phenomenon" regarded as a "scientific certainty"?

Curious, Krafti. Is that supposed to mean the same as "I know where you live and where your children go to school"?
Hey! the Muhammedan horde are quickly catching up to the pits of anti-reason. Give them even a small percentage of the sales-pitch afforded Darwinism and you'll be speaking Arabic, fella
