Quote:
We all remember Bobby Kennedy was assassinated in June in California," Clinton told the editorial board of a South Dakota newspaper. " I don't understand it," Clinton added, alluding to the calls for her to quit.

i called you no names. i called your position chauvinistic. there's a big difference. also, try to address people's arguments rather than attacking them. attacking them is a logical error called an ad hominem.

this says it better than i can: During the Republican convention, with its repeated chants about Clinton of “lock her up,” a U.S.-based columnist for Israel’s Haaretz newspaper, Chemi Shalev, wrote: “Like the extreme right in Israel, many Republicans conveniently ignore the fact that words can kill. There are enough people with a tendency for violence that cannot distinguish between political stagecraft and practical exhortations to rescue the country by any available means. If anyone has doubts, they could use a short session with Yigal Amir, Yitzhak Rabin’s assassin, who was inspired by the rabid rhetoric hurled at the Israeli prime minister in the wake of the Oslo accords.”
People are playing with fire here, and there is no bigger flamethrower than Donald Trump. Forget politics; he is a disgusting human being. His children should be ashamed of him. I only pray that he is not simply defeated, but that he loses all 50 states so that the message goes out across the land — unambiguously, loud and clear: The likes of you should never come this way again.

And? I guess you are just shoving under the rug everything that Clinton is being accused of? Clean up your own side first before you start finding fault with the other side. So far, everything brought up about Trump couldn't hold a candle to what Clinton is being accused of. Why don't you head on over to the News Forum because I have a whole mess of crap Hillary has been accused of doing - that is unless you don't really want to know the truth about your own candidate and just keep your head buried in the sand.

Jacoby, this piece of historical writing could illustrate the psychology:

"First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me." - Martin Niemöller

Don't start sending me PM's. You have something to say to me, then you say it right out in the open where everyone can see it. I have nothing to hide and you shouldn't either.

Did you need to say the chauvinistic sentence at all? No. My position is me. So yes, you called me a chauvinist.

Everyone here needs to learn how to debate properly. I'm not attacking anyone. So stop trying to turn this around on me.

Tell me, what exactly has Trump's words done? I'm still voting for him. I'm sure Jacoby is going to vote for him. Has there been a large pool of people who have said they will not vote for Trump because of his language? If so, I haven't heard about it.

Is Clinton really an advocate for women?

Child rape victim won't forgive Hillary Clinton for defending rapist. http://tiny.iavian.net/bozq

Hillary's entire career have been built on defending rapists, how's that for rape culture for you?

She was forced to defend him due to his right to a lawyer, and asked to be removed from the case but had the request denied.

Except neither of those are are true, nobody forced her to do anything. Hillary's feelings on the matter are pretty clear when you listen to how she speaks about it, she is proud of the fact that she got a child rapist off the hook and knew of his guilt. While she can claim to be a 'good' defense lawyer, she cannot claim to be an advocate for women or children given her personal history. Hillary then is the same she is now, callous and willing to say/do anything to advance herself professionally.

Well, he really said it, or at least suggested it.

Didn't it ever occurred to you that a lot of peoples dislike Trump not from supposedly "dishonest" media but from the way he act and the things he say? Smart peoples tend to dislike Trump after all.

Why are you even interested in American politics? It baffles me. I couldn't care less what goes on in Canada.

Part of it is that many on Wrong Planet are discussing US politic, but also; have you any idea of the political, military and cultural influence of the United-States compared to the Canada? It's more easy for americans to ignore Canada that canadians to ignore the United-States.

Defending alleged criminals is what lawyers do, especially public defenders. It's a public service for which they should receive praise. Without such defense we would not have the rule of law.

It's hypocritical to like Trump for being outspoken, non-PC, saying what's on his mind, and condemning other people for doing the same thing.
