Well, see? You are quite confident in your own righteousness.

Well, see? You are quite confident in your own false conclusion.

Should Christians ever fight? Or, should they remain forever passive? Should Christians abstain from warfare?

Should a Christian allow anyone to rob him, torture him, and murder him? Or, should a Christian fight back?

It depends on which Christians. As far as I know, Christians such as seventh day adventists, Jehova's Witnesses, few Catholics that I know of at least, and few liberal christians seem to commonly be against participating in violence such as warefare, and usually promoting the "Turning the other cheek" approach.

And, well, I was thaught as a former Christian to be a pacifist practically, and the duty of rejecting any involvement in violent activities.

Are you saying that you are not confident of your righteousness?

Well, why aren't you confident of your righteousness?

Maybe you need to get involved in something that will build your righteousness.

You're more righteous than I am, aren't you?

Oh wow, now you're going backwards, then forwards, then backwards, then forwards, booby-trapping every question ready to spout off random Scripture.

Why should random scripture frighten you?

I, for one, am perfectly comfortable with my righteousness. I'm sure that I could be more righteous, or less, but I don't care. I'm satisfied with the righteousness with which I am blessed. I'm not covetous of anyone else's righteousness.

It doesn't frighten me, but you quote based upon buzzwords and phrases without actual thought regarding context or meaning of either what I say or what the Bible says, and your intention in doing so is to attempt to rebuke and teach when contrarily you would be the one for which both ought to be.

So you're more accustomed to the teaching and rebuking role?

Argh, no. Are you more used to the trolling and flaming role?

Is that the best rebuke you can muster?

I'm not trying and I'm not going to bother, because then you'd just spout off more just for the sake of the keyword search and continuation of your caricaturization.

What makes you think that you know more about the Bible than I do?

If what I quoted was "out of context", then how was it out of context?

2 Timothy 3

Quote:
All Scripture is inspired by God, and is useful for teaching the truth, rebuking error, correcting faults, and giving instruction for right living.
