The life expectancy is longer mainly because of capitalism.
Science and modern medicine can not take credit for this at all.
Competition and greed have been scientifically proven to make us live longer. If you were not born in a capitalist country you will probably die long before the capitalists .

This video is a very accurate advertisement for capitalism.

stress has also been shown to be one of the largest factors in many illnesses,

if you are thinking of the xclassic us capitalism i would posit it balances out in the end.

anyway that is if there is anything real data anywhere at all.

hehe capitalism is so shiite it needs PR management. for a minute there i thought the eco socialist had changed sides(you were kidding right- i mean your signiture is still an orwell quote). an advertisment is such a capitalalist way to advertise capitalism. i think a lot of people would disagree with the claim that capitalism has improved the quality of peoples lives the world over. it's hard to argue that it has when in america there are like 14 or 15(cant remember which) empty houses to each homeless person & 48m people out of 300 m are on food stamps & when surpluss grain is destroyed to keep prices up to maximise profit in a world with starving people. this video was so corny too. conservatives make the funniest videos.

I decided not to watch the video because I am already nauseous from drinking a bit too much last night, and I don't really feel like vomiting again.

That video is just stupid, but capitalism has driven the scientific breakthroughs that have increased life expectancy, so there is an element of truth here.

Its a common misconception that capitalism is the only system that allows for innovation. Capitalism also drives the greed and apathy, that leads to things like not having access to these breakthroughs that have increased life expectancy even if they are within walking distance. Like if I get some terrible illness I could certainly walk to the nearest doctors office but as if I could afford an appointment. Things like that are the case for a lot of people.

All I have of any value is this laptop, a bass guitar & amp, and a vinyl/cassette/tape player stereo that also works as a speaker for my laptop, used vinyls and cd's. So what's that going to get me 500 dollars?

Not to mention then I would be short a lap top and the ability to listen to music of my choosing when I am at my moms house or wherever I end up moving to when things aren't working out there anymore.

I think a plane ticket to somewhere that far would be close to 500, other then that I still have a bit of cash left from my college account but I think U.S dollars are worth less then the currency there so though I could probably afford a few days I am sure I would end up completely broke quite soon. And if I suck at keeping a job in the U.S what makes you think I would have better luck in an entire different country. How many employers in the UK are looking to hire some random american loser who stupidly bought a plane ticket there and can't afford one back.
