If an EMP wasn't a high possibility, then US Congress wouldn't have started the EMP Commission.

It's just as likely a major solar flare could take out the power grid as cuckoo lil' Kim taking it down. Not saying it can't happen, but that some of domesday scenario stuff about it is not exactly accurate.

If you choose to listen to this one source then that is up to you. However, I do listen to some Government agencies and I have heard about the EMP possibility for several years from different sources. Now N Korea is actually talking about doing it because they know what will happen - they could wipe out the entire US without even setting foot on the land. Those people who keep saying that happenings like this are "doomsday talk" are just not wanting to see the problem for what it is. I find the words "doomsday talk" comes mostly from Leftists. I do find that interesting especially since the Left believes so much in the Government, but they don't think it strange that an EMP Commission was created. Why have an EMP Commission if all of this is just "doomsday talk"? Whatever.

Becuse solar flares can do the same a amount of damage and our electrical grid is inadequatly prepared for this.Of course it needs to be looked into.If you read the whole article I posted, then you wold have seen that they don't deny it is possible, but a more realistic scenario to what would go down if it actually happened.Plus debunking some common myths about the subject.
And I can pull up other sources if you so desire.
I deal with this on a small scale all the time, lightning is constantly zapping electronics in my home. Its very similar to EMP on a very, very small scale.
And how will you survive this in your condo of doom without heat water, food,or power??I guess you will be one of the 90% that croaks and your cat will eat your face off.I on the other hand have several sources of water,a garden and survivalist knowledge of herbs and wild game.Power goes out here every natural disaster, even the landline phone and cell.No biggee.I'll survive.Lizards are made for such events,we thrive on it.

I don't care about Lil' Kim or solar flares either, 'cause I plan ahead:

That should be your decoy entrance. The real one should always be hidden and heavily booby trapped.

Few things I saw said it'd take 2 years to get the grid back up.

I dont know that 90% of USA would do but certainly those who need medical care would.

As a poor person I'm ill supplied :(
