I appreciate that it's hard to simplify an answer to this particular question, however, where do you regard most of your policies as being positioned for your country?

I'm also interested to know which country you're from, if not stated elsewhere.

I'd probably be centre-left for the USA....but squarely in the centre for a place like Norway.

If you don’t vote does it matter where you are on the political spectrum? In recent elections in France, Germany, USA, and the UK a third or more of eligible voters did not vote. In the last US presidential election it was ~4in10 that did not vote. Shouldn’t there be an accounting of so many Americans that reflects this non-voting as a political position in itself?

I consider the one dimensional right-political spectrum line to an over-simplified an inadequate means of charting political stances. I am a political moralist, with generally communitarian leanings, and subscribe Sungarian political theory within a constitutional democratic republican system. My political stances are not adequately expressed anywhere on a left right line. So other.

I picked center right but to be more specific I have a lot of libertarian in me. I believe in a small government that largely stays out of people's business. I'm fiscally conservative but socially liberal. But I do have views that would piss off the average libertarian so I don't feel I really fit in with any political group lol

I'm sold now on trying a Progressive approach to government that works and provides services to people. I was pulling for Bernie Sanders.

I'm pretty far left by American standards, kind of left by other countries standards.

I'm very left-wing by American standards but in most of Europe, I'd only be considered moderately leftist. Bernie Sanders describes himself as a democratic socialist and I'd probably describe myself in the same way.

Sadly, at the rate the US is going, if you're not racist or homophobic you're already far left by American standards.
