Him saying this reminds me of an old skit on SNL; Bob Newhart plays a psychiatrist who guarantees he can stop any neurotic behavior in only one session. When any patient comes to see him, he yells at them STOP IT! Why are there people who actually believe Trump can stop a war so easily?

Nono, it might be true. All he said was he would "end the conflict". He never specified HOW he'd "end the conflict". Knowing him, he'd "bomb ukraine and give it to russia". No more "conflict".

He can't currently do it, cos he needs to abuse the US armed forces to accomplish it. That's why you should vote for him, of course... :roll:

My understanding is that Trump intends to withdraw all US support for Ukraine, effectively handing victory to Putin. That's what he means by ending the war. He'd take that decision in the first 24hrs of his presidency.

Not quite the same thing as ending the war in 24hrs but there's some truth in his claims and he'd probably do it, too.
