This man is terrifying as heck, doubly so considering I'm transgender. Here Sheriff David Clarke verbally excoriates and threatens a medical examiner for releasing unfavorable evidence without telling him first:

I feel sorry for any trans person that lives in Sheriff David Clarke's county. I am so glad I moved to California, but if Clarke becomes Homeland Security chief, I'm not so sure that even California would be safe:

This man is evil.

It seems like anyone and everyone Trump might consider for anything is supposed to be terrifying.

I think middle class Germans were making similar feeble excuses for the Nazis in 1933

Clarke says people who post "pro-terrorist" sentiments on social media should be detained without trial at Guantanimo Bay, and he expects up to a million would be detained under such an effort. In that case, I wonder how he could ensure humane conditions at the prison, but considering his jail cut off an inmate's water supply and left him to slowly die of thirst I don't think Clarke is too concerned about that:

This is pretty horrible stuff. We need to start organizing IRL and lean on each other.

Hey, y'all have wanted for Trump to bring some minorities on-board. With Clarke you'd be getting one in the form of a black Reinhardt Heydrich or Felix Dzerzhinsky.

The whole Trump is Hitler and anyone he chooses is Goering, Goebbels, Himmler and Mengele, the whole Nazi thing is getting really lame. Don't mean to be rude, but it is.

Liberals also compared the Bush Administration to the Sith and the Third Reich.
I find it all rather amusing. :D

No offence, but this kinda stuff reminds me of Christians going on about the coming of the Antichrist and the Great Tribulation.

Well of course! We b***h about theirs and they b***h about ours.
Always been that way, but I don't think there has ever been the widespread nutty as hell reaction like there has been to Trump winning the election.

Uh, dude, he called for detention without trial of people for speech that fits within an ill-defined category, meaning he could label his opponents' speech with such category. That is pretty authoritarian.

Has any pick by Obama ever called for the detention of up to a million people because of their speech?

1. What does this man / OP article have to do with your being transgender?
2. Why is it you're often starting "The sky is falling" threads?
3. Why do you so often use the words in an article, as your own? (I've actually seen "copy and pasted" words in your OPs, without using a quote box; so, that makes it look like you're saying the words, YOURSELF.) "Excoriates" - had you ever even heard of that word, before it was mentioned in the article / did you have to look-up its meaning?

I'm thinking there was something else wrong with that man----and, just because it's not in the OP article, doesn't mean he wasn't ALSO suffering from Diabetes, diarrhea, excessive vomiting, or kidney failure, for instance (all things that could cause dehydration). There would be little reason for someone, receiving three hots and a cot, to die of dehydration, otherwise.

Okay, so what does the author of that Chicken Little statement suggest----like, should I be walkin' up and down the street with my "Transgender Lives Matter" sign, or what? I need to know, so I can prepare----I've got my crayons at-the-ready, but I'll need to buy a Post-It. I've often wondered if you and the other "The sky is falling" female, on here (NCE & PPR), ever do any of the things you try to direct other people to do.

Isn't that what the Left, WANTS----as in, far-reaching government?

I think people in California are going to be better off than those in other places but it will still not be good.

Campin_Cat, you should read both articles the OP shared. They answer your first question.

As for your 2nd question, maybe the OP is scared (and rightfully so) that they live in a country where the president is appointing someone who called people like them "freakish."
