I’m confused, will SSI people get stimulus check or they get it if they pay taxes?

the local news said everyone including those not filing taxes , but seeing will be believing .
if am familiar with yactics used by politicians prolly wait till christmas to give it to us ,, so people will feel most grateful to them........... ?

People getting SSI and who are NOT claimed as a dependent on someone else's taxes, will automatically get a check for $1200.

The IRS portal is now working.I get SSI and my payment will be deposited in my account May 13.
First thing is to get a new weedeater, mine just died and the grass and weeds are over two foot high with more rain coming.

Yeah there’s a lot of thst going around for viewing numbers so news groups get ad money.
The house passed a bill thst was dead on arrival to the senate. The senate wants to pass a bill thst only gives money to big corporations it such a bill will never pass the house.
So no further stimulus will happen. Senate also wants to use any stimulus bill to put an end to the covid unemployment pay. As is it goes until oct they want to stop it now. They say it makes people lazy, most are unemployed and haven’t even got any unemployment yet as the systems are so outdated in most states.
It’s lie of course, see people can only get unemployment if they unemployed. If their job says come back we open, and they say no id rsther get unemployment. They considered to have quit and aren’t elf or unemployment. Republicans just hate thst poor people who are unemployed for no fault of their own are getting help.

As I said below the news are all making speculations on a bill thst they even say at end of each article is very very unlikely to happen. It’s called click baiting. They get paid for everyone who views their site. So they make these articles about a stimulus they even say won’t happen so people go to site and they rake in billions off our pain.

Or just any title that doesn’t accurately describe the content.
It’s quite a bad issue on YouTube where like news sites, people get paid by YouTube depending on how many views they get.

True. But Also because the orange guy needs employment numbers, economic indicators, and the stock market to be well on their way back to normal before the election in November. He doesn’t care if it kills another couple hundred thousand Americans - the numbers just have to look good for his re-election campaign so he can brag that he beat COVID and got America running again.

The bill is called the HEROES bill. It was passed by the House. It must then be passed by the Senate, then Trump must sign it.
