I was imagining Minnie Mouse wearing the metal bikini Princess Leia wore in "Return of the Jedi".

This makes me sad.. I mean.. I like Disney and their stuff but, I just can't see Star Wars being itself without George Lucas. It says he'll stay as a creative consultant but.. It bothers me!

I guess Leia is now a Disney Princess. I just hope they don't screw it up like with the prequels.

So, the sequel trilogy is going get made after all. I thought George Lucas said he already completed the story that he wanted to tell.

Oh, don't worry - George took care of messing everything up back in Episode 1: The Phantom Plotline.

Despite not being involved as the director this time, George Lucas wrote the plot-lines for episodes 7, 8 and 9 (i.e. the ones now being made Disney) too and already did so in the late '70's when the plot-lines for the prequels and original trilogy were written. He initially planned three star wars trilogies, only I thought that the third trilogy (episodes 7, 8 and 9) was canceled a long time ago.

I don't have much faith that they'll do things right, but I'll reserve judgement until I see the results. Potentially having a Kingdom Hearts with lightsabers is definitely an upside.

I just hope they don't start cramming the airspace with shows revolving around mindless, trite garbage aimed at so-called "tweens." I can see it already: two stormtroopers having a high-school crush on each other and both being afraid to remove their helmets out of fear that the other will find them too hideous to date...

Disney, please don't ruin Star Wars (the Clone Wars garbage was painful enough to endure).

Disney did a good job with the Avengers movie, I think we should reserve judgement until we hear more.

I guess "Family guy" won't be doing anymore "Star Wars" paradies now that Disney owns the franchise.
