She's not the one who killed and hurt all those people. That person is gone. It is not all that unusual, I don't think, in the States. for people to build up arsenals and harbour ill will. If she is guilty of anything it is complicity, and what's that worth? I don't know. It's like Raptor says, it's a gun country ... I am interested to see how authority regains it's strong hand, or if it does.

But terrorism doesn’t have to be ideologically based. James Holmes, Adam Lanza, Elliott Rodgers...all terrorists.
Well, I don't know / haven't read that much about James Holmes ('cept that he was seein' a shrink)----but, the other two, from what I've read, seem to have boo-hooed alot / seemed to have been the ol' "Oh, woe is me, life has been so unkind to me" types----THERE'S your ideology!!
Very possible, some people are so full of hate and rage that they can't stand to see the happiness of others. They most likely collect a mental list of supposed injuries and injustices. They imagine they have suffered greatly at the hands of others. So they want to inflict their suffering onto others. They probably feel some sort of sick sense of justice when they do this.
Lots of people having a good time at that concert, just average people out with friends and family.Maybe that was his motive.
Yep. Not only is it possible that he could've inherited mental illness from his father (it was reported that his father had been a diagnosed psychopath), he could've been a narcissist and been ticked-off cuz his dad never showed him any (or, much) love, and was angry at him for always doin' things to get locked-up, and thus being away from him, when he needed him; and, been "stewin'" in that anger, ever-since (cuz, I've often read that one of things that can "make" a narcissist, is one thinking that they had been "done wrong").

I AGREE----but, like I said, I think it's fun to analyze, and consider other angles; if that's not your bag, that's cool.....
I'm the same. Unforturnately, the Left has a name for that - Conspiracy Theorist.
I embrace that name wholeheartedly!
LOL Good, for you (and I mean that, sincerely - cuz there's too many thin-skinned people on here, who let stuff like that, get to them). Mind if I call you "Conspeer", for short----or, "Connie"? LOL

There's an interesting tidbit in the Comments (I almost always read the Comments - often I learn more, there, than from an article), that says that there are pictures of the shooter on YouTube, that show him and his girlfriend at Anti-Trump rallies in Reno (where he also owns a home).
You know this is interesting. This is just what I was talking about when they cover things up and don't tell everything. What if it was political? They really aren't going to want that information to get out because it would be all out war. Especially after they were making such a big deal about everyone coming together like some big freaking happy family. That would really make the Left look looney - the biggest mass murder in US history. The Democrats would not want that going against them. I need to look this up.
Yeah, I was saying, back, near the beginning of this thread, that the first thing I thought-of was that I wondered if someone targeted a country music festival, because they figured most country music fans, were Republicans.
I don't know if it would be an "all-out war", though----in the sense that the Conservatives would start shootin'-up Liberals----it may be an "all-out war" in the sense that it'd be a very LONNNNG time before another Democrat got elected, though.
It most definitely would be the case that the Left would have even MORE detractors, IMO, if it did, in-fact, come to light that this guy was going-after Republicans----I mean, look it..... The Republican congressmen were targeted, the Conservatives were the ones who were getting the worst end of the beatings, and so-forth, in Charlottesville, IMO, as well as alot of the Left doing alot of other crazy stuff----and, interestingly, the same people (even here on WP) who were slammin' ALL Conservatives for that ONE who killed a woman with his CAR (NOT a gun - I say we should ban cars; they're not protected by The Constitution, afterall [/sarcasm]), are the SAME people saying that others shouldn't judge ALL Liberals, by the actions of a few.
Being a "Leftist" has nothing to do with owning / not owning guns----we have several, right here, in River City (WP) that own guns.
Yeah, I wouldn't say I'm at Conspiracy Theory-level, yet, on this----though, I'm quite aware that the government has, most probably, covered-up things, before----but, I, pretty much, agree with the rest of this quote.
...The people you consider victimized " Consrvatives " in Charottesville were Nazi flag-waving, hate slogan-spouting, morons !
I am not in favor of tbem having been (maybe) attacked..
but I do not consider them " persecuted innocent victims ". f**k 'em .

She's still sticking to her story of not knowing what Paddock was going to do. 6 hours of questioning and that is all her lawyer had to say. Big Woo.

Darn, I flunked.
They are finally going to have the security guard speak, he was the one who found the room and distracted Paddock. When doing so, Stephen shot rounds through the door hitting the security guard. The guard was able to call out the exact location and direct Zebra 20 to the shooters exact location. Fortunately, Stephen in turn decided to suck start his revolver and end it.
Usually typical behavior with mass shooters, ending it with the first sighs of resistance.

Well, I definitely see what you're saying----and, have thought the very same thing, in other cases (ie, Bernie Made-off with everybody's money's wife)----but, here's another interesting tidbit, I found:
Le Fevre said that Danley, a Catholic devoted to her family, was “very different” than Paddock, a methodical casino gambler who used algorithms and spreadsheets.
"She's not very confident,” Le Fevre said. “She had a little Subaru Forester and she would go three blocks out of her way so she didn't have to turn left or cross a big intersection."
"I wouldn't say [their relationship] was lovey dovey," he speculated. "It always seemed to be to be one of convenience."
Le Fevre said Paddock shared with him how he was a success at gambling, saying he would operate with "a pool of money, $1.5 million."
"He would gamble for hours, come home, take a nap and then go back. I'd say ‘How did it go?’ and he would say ‘I just dropped 20 grand’ or ‘I’m up 86 grand.’ He approached it like a business."
Le Fevre described the shooter as “a very reserved and nonemotive person."
"His investments, his gambling were done with military precision,” Le Favre added.
...
Separately, a worker at a Starbucks in Mesquite told The Los Angeles Times that she and her colleagues winced whenever the couple came in because Paddock would frequently berate his much shorter partner in public.
"He was so rude to her in front of us," Esperanza Mendoza, the store's supervisor, told the newspaper. "He would glare down at her and say — with a mean attitude — ‘You don’t need my casino card for this. I’m paying for your drink, just like I’m paying for you.’ Then she would softly say, ‘OK,’ and step back behind him."
...
Danley “probably was even [more] shocked than us because she is … closer to him than us. To be able to find out the person you love and live with can do such a thing. And you thought you knew the person yourself.
Paddock "barking" at her, and the sister's ex saying that she wasn't very confident seems to OTOH, put a little dent in SH90's theory about her, maybe, also being involved with some kind of plot, that also included ISIS----OTOH, a meek / shy lil' person is often the VERY person who gets taken advantage of, by someone like ISIS, and what might've been a domineering boyfriend (he might've said: "Go talk to those people [ISIS], and see what's in it for me", or whatever).
Also, maybe this scene in the Starbucks was indicative of even MORE / more extensive abuse, and we have all seen women, who have been abused, who don't leave men, because the women love them----and, if nothin' else, it's often difficult to see the forest, for the trees. Like one of her sisters was saying about her being "even more shocked than us"----from what I know of these situations, an abused person needs to be totally out of a situation, for them to start "accepting" the signs (they, often, have SEEN the signs, before); she may not, really, have any good information, until MONTHS from now, maybe, cuz she has to wait for the shock of the killings to wear-off, TOO (let-alone, if she comes to the realization that she was abused / manipulated / whatever)----so, I don't know that I would pin the "when he goes nuts"-responsibility on her.
Also----and, I hope I don't hurt SH90, in saying this (or any other person of Asian descent)----alot of Asian women have the reputation for being "obedient" (minding "their man"); that's why, IMO, some Americans marry them, cuz their wife won't back-talk them (aside from the fact that they can be GORGEOUS).

I totally believe this. Why would that upset SH90?

Heavy: Jesus Campos 5 facts
DailyBeast
I cannot find a verifiable picture of Jesus Campos, but to my mind he is a true hero in this. He identified and engaged the shooter before backup and likely led the shooter to commit suicide, which saved lives.
The $100,000 was for building a house for Danley's family.
I think Paddock paid for Danley, if you ask me. He did once say at the coffee house that he had "bought her". This could also mean that since she had the benefit of his money, he pretty much "owned" her.

Oh, good----I'm glad you posted that, as well, cuz that's yet another question, answered.

I'm confused. They said Danley worked in the casino. So why did she let him boss her around?
Does anyone know if the Philippines is a country where the family sells their daughter for money? Like a mail-order bride more or less.

It would also magnify the effects of the valium - a lot. Alcohol and benzos can cause death by resp failure. Of course this would be more difficult in a person with high tolerance.
