Just curious. I personally find more at ease when I try to socialize with people of the opposite gender; males are easier to understand than females, and in my life I've met only girls talking about make-up and famous actors, exept my best friend (who is, however, a girl like me), while males had interests more similar to mine. What about you?

I feel more at ease with opposite sex. While it might be easier to talk with another guy, I perfer talking to a girl. In that way, it can help me with starting a relationship with her or another girl.

It depends on the situation, but most of the time it's with the opposite gender (females).

It might be because I'm not interested in them in that way but when I do attempt to socialize, it's much easier with boys.

Both-
I do not feel comfortable around most people my age. My one friend is female, however that doesn't really make me more at ease with females.

I didn't except this to b gender related, but I would say men. I find it easy to talk to old men or overly happy and excited teenagers/college students.

I feel more comfortable around the same gender. I'm always more nervous around girls, simply because they are girls. They don't even have to be attractive, I'm just more nervous around them.

I usually find it easier to socialize with the opposite gender (females).

I'm fine speaking with both genders. I feel somehow that I can relate to both in certain ways.

It's about the same for me, but I lean more towards being able to socialize better with guys (opposite gender). It really depends. I have more male acquaintances (whom aren't very easy to talk to), more female friends (easy to talk to about certain things), but my closest friends are guys (whom I can talk to about just anything).

For me it's not so much a particular gender I'm at ease with, but particular people...My 1 year old niece; she talks very, VERY well. I can have an intelligent conversation with her. The other person I'd probably say my long time friend of 8 years.
