On the way to and going home from being out with friends last night, I felt a bit sad and depressed. The source was my Dad worrying about me more since my Mom passed earlier this year, and also could've been the start of the holiday season here in the States (a handful of the houses I drove past had already been decorated for Christmas, BTW).

Part of me wanted to seek some professional help in this regards, maybe from the continued grief over my Mom's passing earlier this year, but I'd have to see if my employer's health plan would cover it. Even so, I'd reckon it would cost a good deal of money. Should I do it?

Also, I invite you to read my other thread where I discuss grief and the Holidays.

What's your employer's plan? If it's GHI, it just might cover therapy visits. You have to get someone in the "network," though.

Right now, it’s Cigna

I found at least 7 therapists near Saratoga Springs who take Cigna.
