A good friend of mine took me with him to see "The Dark Knight" Wednesday evening. It was actually fun. I knew everything that was going on because I listened and he filled me in on parts I asked about.

Afterwards,We went out and ate.

He did really good at helping me get around with places I was not sure about.

Oh,I LOVE the Joker.

"Why so serious? LET'S PUT A SMILE ON THAT FACE!"

P.S. The point of this thread is to say that I had alot of fun for the first time since losing all of my vision.

Wasn't the Joker's voice phenomenal? Your approach and outlook seems to be fantastic - keep going, and keep us informed as you find new experiences... quite commendable.

Wow. not only are you able to cope with the blindness, you acn also have fun while doing somthing that i thought was only for those who could see. pat on the shoulder!

i think i have seen somewhere that a new audio system is being implemented in the new cinema's a small set of earphones, that explains with a pleasant voice what is going on during the movie. and its so quiet that you can follow the original soundtrack while listening, but not so quiet that you cant hear it
