People rant either because they cannot please the culture. Or the culture cannot please them.
And I strongly admit I'm guilty of both.

The kitchen sink seems to be working as a spider trap. l keep finding a spider in it. lt cannot get out. l always have to catch it and release it somewhere else in the house.

(this is the first post (a message/reminder for myself))

I've got 100 .45 cal lead round balls with nothing to shoot them out of.

I'm thinking I could load 'em into a 12 gauge shell. Kinda like "super-buckshot" (.45 cal is probably 000000 buck). I could probably get about 4 in each 2-3/4 inch hull to equal a starting 1 ounce load (with 5 being the goal for a heavier load), though they won't fit as a nice stack (pattern will be worst, and velocity may drop a little for the same weight load). Filler around the balls should help that.

Should be a pretty potent shell for hunting biggish stuff up close (less hits, but more penetration and damage per hit).

On September 9th, if Queen Elizabeth II is still on the throne, she will pass her great-great-grandmother, Queen Victoria, for longest reigning British monarch.

Hi All. I'm back. Yeah! Oh, how I've missed WP and all of my friends here. It's like coming back home.
Well, I've officially moved into AspieLand! (my new studio apartment with a nice view) - AND I'M ALL ALONE!! ! Finally! In my own place where I can set it up how I want, with everything in order. Well, in order soon hopefully  ).

Yeah, it's a whole lot longer than Lady Jane's eleven days of reign.

Every spring we're told that lighting grass fires is dangerous to people, pets, wildlife, everything obviously, and it doesn't help the new grass to grow better at all. Every year people do it anyway. I saw plenty of evidence when my dad drove me home after visiting him and my mom on Mother's Day. Maybe people just like the smell of burning grass (not that kind).

Hi, Krabo!

Nine days, actually.

If you think that's short, how about John I of France? Known as John the Posthumous for being born after his father, Louis X, died. He only lived(And reigned) for five days.

I used to hate myself all the time because I was a mess. I guess I still do, but the older I get the more I realize that it's ridiculous.

Does a dog hate itself for barking every day at the slightest excuse? I doubt it.

Really, I'm not that different. Barking for whatever reason. Loneliness, sadness, frustration, confusion, worry...

So, how was the wine, jk1?

:)

I'm back after a very long time, and it's really embarrassing to read old posts...

When I was under 16 I shouldn't have been let near a computer, lol.

Someone is being deliberately obtuse on the internet!

It wasn't particularly impressive. Probably that's why I didn't remember much about it. It's pretty much as dry as a dry wine can be, which I like. Goes well with salami and cheese.
