It's not so much about frogs as about me. When I was a child (five) I didn't socialize. So I took frogs with me and even brought them with me in bed. They were the only animals available around. I don'think they were very happy.

Live frogs have been levitated in strong magnetic fields with no harm done to them. But
I have read if an MRI field is maxed out it will make a person see temporary flashes of light. So I image the frog is on one tripy ride.
