...Was recently intending to give WrongPlanet a good long break but think, in hindsight, it's become a crutch of sorts: an online diary, despite my peculiarities!
In any case, I've found myself saddened this Xmas. I've realised very recently how much I've missed my grandmother. I want to tell her how much I love her. It is a strange feeling indeed to realise that I've never really gotten over her death. I am upset to realise the beautiful, caring individual who helped raise me and build a foundation for my ideals never heard all of this from my own lips.
Christmas, plus my birthday, tends to make me extremely emotional, craving meaningful contact. I suppose this is all natural and to be expected, but it is very, very painful all the same.

Opened my laptop that I hardly ever use in order to print something. Now 20 mins in, 3 or 4 restarts later and still waiting. NOoooOO those idiots at Microsoft couldn't think to install updates after you shut down your computer but rather when it boots up and you intend on using it. Reminds me why I never use Windows anymore because it sucks.
