Hello,

I am getting into listening to 432Hz music online today. I am surprised at how effective it is at clearing my physical and mental issues. Do any of you have experience with this sort of stuff? Also are there any other frequencies that I should look into?

Thanks,

Canadian Freedom Lover

I remember really being interested in this until reading and seeing enough that thoroughly debunked it to be convinced that slightly out of tune music doesn't offer any benefits over conventionally tuned music.

It all seems like woo.

It would be nice if the claims had some truth to them though.

The frequencies in question are either arbitrarily selected or based on numerology, nothing more.

They are promoted by a man named Leonard Horowitz; conspiracy theorist, medical quack, numerologist, and wooist profiteer.

"He is an adherent and influential promoter of a large range of pseudoscientific conspiracy theories about health and medicine, and is respected among factions of the far right as an authority on these topics." --  Link to Rational Wiki Article

If anyone wants to waste their time and money on such worthless ideas, they are free to do so. Of course, if they end up killing themselves or others by avoiding real medical science, then that's a real problem, now isn't it?

Hmmmm well it still makes me feel better, so it must be a pretty damn good placebo effect then.

Probably won't get the placebo effect now that your mind has heard that its been debunked.

Nothing wrong with that.

I listen to binaural beats at times; whether or not they work as claimed it's still a pleasant drone to have inside my skull at times.
