A friend of the family is coming over to the house today and we are helping my dad celebrate Father's Day.

Lucas Pouille won a tennis title. He is my tennis instructor's favorite new player on the tour. I'd like to e-mail my instructor and tell him the news. He's probably watching and is no doubt excited.

What a tennis year this has been!

Roger Federer wins the Australian Open
Denis Istomin beats Djokovic at AO
Rafael Nadal wins La Decima at the French Open
Lucas Pouille and Gilles Muller winning titles on grass. Muller won on Father's Day and shared the victory with his family, at the age of 34.

Pretty good all around!

I hope Denis Istomin can win Nottingham again.

Watching the annual Gay Pride Parade in Portland, which ended about one hour ago.

Happy Pride to all LGBT people and straight friends alike! :D

-Like Kurado, I happily have novelling work to do. I'm working on three stories simultaneously.

-My mom bought an organ for $15. I'll probably be the only one playing it but she bought it for everyone.

-The book I'm reading, Look Me in the Eye by John Elder Robison is about the author growing up with undiagnosed autism. He wasn't diagnosed until he was 40. It's very enjoyable, relatable, and reminds me that I'm not alone.

^I've heard of that book, and I think it's on one of the bookshelves in the living room.

Gripping some branches, smelling some petals and dodging the busy bees and intoxicated butterflies, sensory version of investigating a bouncy castle, bouncy castles themselves are a dying breed it seems, especially randomly generated ones. They should be as common to stumble across whilst strolling as post boxes!

More tennis tournaments in the lead up to Wimbledon. Roger Federer will be playing this week and a new player, Denis Shapavolov, looks interesting. (What is my thing with players named Denis? This younger Denis is a Canadian of Russian descent). What is my thing with Russian-descent tennis players named Denis?

A new tennis player, Denis Shapovalov, is playing today. He is a Canadian teenager of Russian descent. What is this fascination I have for Russian players named Denis?
