It's still not a job I enjoy. It also takes up a good portion of the day and once I am out of it, I am mentally drained from constantly thinking about how I am so far behind my peers, my dreams are unreachable, and I am stuck in a rut until I exit.

I don't even try to engage in my hobbies anymore. I sometimes think I should just throw away my guitar and trash my drawing supplies because I am past the age where I can actually develop talents in them.

you can't know what something is like until you experience it, and relationships are no different.

If they had to experience what I go through, it would shatter their paradigm.

I've had a relationship before but it was short lived.

When I see other people's accomplishments in music and drawing, it really stabs me in the soul. It makes me wonder why the talent was denied in me and I will never be able to catch up.

^ I had a really tough job too but I also learnt a lot about human behaviour while I was there.
It depends what you focus on, and I don't think any experience in life is wasted.
