I don't know and I don't want to find out. The very thought of it makes me feel like gagging.

Well, yeah, I was joking. I don't recommend anyone actually try this. T-shirts aren't edible.

Yes, it is possible. You can eat anything, so long as it ain't directly poisonous and so long as you can render it into little pieces. Check this guy, who among other things ate a light aircraft. ^^

Human saliva cannot break down or soften t-shirts like they do food. When it goes to the stomach, it also will have trouble being digested and brought to the colon and out the anus.

I've heard of edible underwear, so perhaps it's possible to get edible T-shirts somewhere?

Well what goes in has to come out again. I can't imagine a t/shirt would be very digestible.

Peace ellomo

In theory yes, you should be able to eat a t-shirt if it's 100% cotton because cotton is cellulose, which is just plant fiber. If you ate little bits at a time it would probably pass through your system without causing too much upset, however, if you ate it all at once you'd probably get so constipated you'd have to go to the hospital. If you choose to eat it in little bits, you really ought to go organic and undyed because most dyes are actually toxic and cotton is treated with lots and lots of pesticides because it's not intended for consumption.

So yeeeeah, let us know how that goes. hehehee

Mind the tag.
