Are there any aspie veterans (military) here? How did you survive Basic and AIT? What was your MOS? You you stationed where you had hoped?

Me- I took basic at Fort Leonard Wood, MO and AIT at Fort Sam. Missouri wasn't to my liking especially during the winter. But it was better than other forts I heard about. I loved Fort Sam! Just outside San Antonio, TX. I would like to visit there again and maybe meet up with some old friends.

Now my duty post. . .Fort Hood. It sucked! I was assigned to an armored unit (tanks, etc).
