I remember when this video and song was first popular. This was the first rock n roll song that grabbed my attention in 1983 when I was 8. :)

All of my beautiful cats, especially Samantha.
I remember all of the music and entertainment-related things other posters have mentioned.
When I first started liking Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Denis Istomin

I remember when Reading Rainbow was still on PBS television & had its original opening animation & music, and when LeVar Burton was the host.

I remember watching a program called The Electric Company. It's still on, but it isn't as good as the program I remember as a kid. I also remember Sagwa, The Chinese Siamese Cat.

When the kitty brothers, Peter, Paul and Prince were born. Peter was the last survivor, passing away last year at age eighteen. He is my oldest ever male pet. My oldest ever was my female Siamese, Samantha, who lived to be 20.

I don't remember a time when I could ever really call myself "normal," although I was told I was happy, social and outgoing before I began school. I made decent grades in school, but really didn't have very many friends. I am changing that now.

I remember when I was popular at my school for one Friday when I was 12 years old. I never understood why my classmates suddenly wanted to hang around with me that day, and then they just forgot all about me the following Monday.

I remember when there were payphones all over the place.

When TVs were really heavy and difficult to move around. Difficult to take home in your car.

When there were movie rental stores all over the place.

When people carried walkmans around with them.

When cell phones could only be used for phone calls.

When the internet was dial up and you had to sign off if you wanted the phone line to be free.

When answering machines had tapes inside of them.

When floppy disks were used in computers.

When you had to have the CD in the computer when you played a computer game.

When Sega made video game consoles.

I loved watching The Electric Company! :D That was a very cool show. I watched it every chance that I got. I also remember watching The Monkees every weekday during the summer on KST Washington.
