some quasi-goulashian stuff I made last night, consisting of peas, an old box of rice and vermicelli [10+ years old, inherited from my late mother's pantry], canned mackerel and mackerel juice, a bit of cheese sauce, a bit of Mr. Yoshida's marinade, some whole oats, a week's worth of collected can washings as sauce, a bit of fake salt, tomato sauce, and shredded seaweed. cooked it 4 hours 'til it all was mushy the way I like. :chef:

Hilleberg Enan, a 1.1 kilo (~2 pound) 3-season tent. Supposed to go for $600 but i waited until a sale and got a 25% discount.

Gonna use that a bit this summer (or maybe as soon as spring). I love ultralight gear, none of my friends are interested in hiking so i have to carry everything myself :P

Some new ukulele picks. I don't like finger strumming that much, actually.

Me & my girlfriend came back yesterday from being gone 3 weeks visiting my family. Besides food for us & things I bought for her that she'll pay me back for, I bought some PS2 & xBox games that were $4 each. We should of took the games out of their cases to look at them 1st cuz some are pretty scratched up & one game that Cass got was missing the disk. We would of only gotten half the games if we had looked at em 1st. Oh well we learn for next time. I also bought a used & worn bayonet for $24 at an estate sale. There was another one just like it there that was in the exact same condition. I wouldn't of gotten it if the price was any higher cuz it was barely worth it to me & the $24 was after the 50% off sale. A few days later I bought a dagger for $12 at a flea-market type place. It's a pretty kewl display piece & would of been a great deal to me at 3x the price. I guess it makes up for the bayonet. I left both the blades at my parents & they can bring em up next time they come this way which might be this spring. I didn't want to get in trouble carrying them on the bus, I don't need them, & we were bringing a lot of stuff back with us cuz we did the Christmas thing while we were in. I mostly wanted money & that's mostly what I got. I had to carry some of Cass's stuff back & both our bags were about full & about maxed out on the 50 pound weight limit for each & Cass left a couple heavier things there for my parents to bring to. I also bought some meds last night from an overseas pharmacy that I buy from a couple times a year.

Nice, I driven one of those and a S500 W140. I prefer the Lexus LS400 surprisingly.
