Is it just me, or are survial horror games not scary? Resident Evil 4 isn't scary and neither is The Thing. Silent Hill doesn't look scary either.

well, i think the first silent hill was kinda boring (ok i never finished it, i wasn't scared though).. although atmosphere wise it is much more chilling then RE. RE usually has a lot of flash and bang stuff that wears off when you play it over and over. My favorite one is when you're walking through the hallway and a bunch of dogs jump through the window. classic.
I've heard SH 2 and 3 are much better.. I wanna play them.

I loved the RE's on PS1 
I have RE4 but it's been put to the side while my motion sickness woes slowly subside. I've been adjusting again by playing PC games.

yes!
all of these DOOM-type first-person shootem up games give me complexes! i think cause of the sheer amount of times you (well, me) die
i mean, what if i only had a gun to defend myself from monsters or whatever in RL???? i feel like i already have a set back cause i'm not a cat and wouldn't have 9 lives.... if this situation ever happened it would probably result the same way my game play does in these games--with me dying in 10 min lol
