Celebrity worship.

I am not that interested in celebrities. I have googled a couple of names because they where mentioned on this forum and that is about it. I quickly loose interest in them after I googled them and most of the time I don't even know who these people are.

Most celebreties are narcissistic and ambitious enough to crave a certain amount of fame but once they've got wat they wanted they can't handle it. They start complaining about all the attention they're getting when they are walking down the street for instance, they turn to harddrugs, alchohol or sex and they go all crazy and weird. One in a while you hear that one or two of them are getting married, which is actually quite boring and predictable news because we all know that they are going to get divorced again. Celebrities are not exactly a new phenomenon allthough I do think that the emphasis on celebrity has gotten out of hand during the last 50 years or so. Especially in the USA and the UK. Anyway, they should have known beforehand what was going to happen when they obtained their craved spot in the limelight and stop nagging.

I have developed an allergy for celebrities. I am aware of the fact that this may come across as cold and prejudiced and it probably is, but I think most of them where already insecure, messed up, egocentric and naricissistic before they ever became famous. Besides, they come and go pretty fast. It is impossible to keep up with all the names. I prefer everyday people instead of these hyped up creatures. My own life is certainly not ideal but I don't want to trace places with them either.

Books that have too much sex in them I don't really want to know the gruesome details.

Those stickers that are on DVDs and Blu-Rays when you first buy them, especially when they refuse to come off right away.

^ Yeah, those things; I believe those are security devices.
