I'd rather interact with robots if given a choice between a robot and someone I didn't know.

I'd rather regular [not people with PhDs] folk still had jobs they could do, rather than be consigned to more or less permanent occupational irrelevance/unemployment. I can see a bit of the scenario depicted in "AI" happening in my lifetime.
