We call them cyclones in the Southern Hemisphere.
It's predicted to be category 5 by the time it crosses the coast.
Yikes! 8O

There's a difference between good pain and bad pain in exercise, the one means progress, the other injury.

I plan to start working out again on tuesday. I understand what you mean here, but still I wouldn't call it a "good pain" :P I call it torture!

Raleigh that cyclone looks really scary 8O However your drawing makes it hard to focus on the danger  You actually look scared :P

How has your house stood up against cyclones before?

OMG the most crazy things has happened today. First, one of my downstairs neighbors asked me if it was ok with me that they get a dog. They had gotten signatures from everyone in the building apart from me, so of course I couldnt be the one to crush their dream. Besides I did the same round before I got my dog back in time, I know how nerve wrecking it is. They are going to get a staffordshire terrier :P

WAIT before this, when I was in the shower this morning, I discovered a booble on the wall in the shower. The worst news EVER 8O :( 8O :(

THEN my downstairs ashole (neighbour) knoked on my door and asked if I could tread more lightly, because he could hear it really well when I walked. I was pretty clear, that is out of the question. I'm not going to walk on my toes in my own home. He was like ok, no that is ok.

THEN my other neighbour contacted me to tell me that she is a police student, and she was going to text her colleague because she could smell weed every day coming from my ashole neighbour apartment. So RIGHT now I'm waiting for the police to come and knock on his door :D  :D

Oh, the nerves/exitement!

This police neighbour thing is both good and bad news  I can't drink red wine out of a kitchen glass on my terrece now

I don't think the police has come yet, or at least I haven't heard anything special.

Oh s**t!! ! no no no, what if I'm the one who gets blamed for contacting the police 8O Seems like quite a coincidence that just two days after I move in the police showes up at the door 8O Good thing I have a cop student as a neighbour :P 8)

Raleigh, I never did wish you congrats BTW. How about a cyclone wedding then? :P Seriously, I hope you all weather the storm OK there, and glad to see you didn't stay away for good.

Froya, wow, sounds like one nuisance after another in your new place. Didn't you have an electrician in/shouldn't he have caught your power problem?

The terrace sounds nice though, except for the no alcohol thing. Not that I can have alcohol now anyway, hopefully that restriction won't be forever. Either way, I would find it really obnoxious to not be allowed to serve a lousy glass of whine to someone outside my own home. What nosy neighbors you have. :(

Was going to say other stuff a few days ago, like how I could really relate to some of Froya's and Uncle's posts, but I got distracted and it's all buried now in this fast-moving thread.

I'm also sick again, or still not well, depending on how you see it. Ironically, I was just at the doctor's office earlier in the week, and now I get a second virus, or a relapse, or whatever. I'm just glad it happened now and not in April when I have a lot more to do.

Ha ha, I spelled that really bad  I meant a bubble. There is a bubble on the wallpaper, and I'm pretty sure it wasn't there before. With other words my brand new bathroom is not water proof.

I have talked to Anne, and she adviced me to contact the firm tomorrow. So I will do that.

You would think the electrician would have said something yes. If the fuse needs to be increased, he should have known that and told me so! The only things I had plugged in, that wasn't alreddy there when I moved in, was a lamp and my computer. Then adding the vaccum cleaner and that was too much :? I should brobably mention that aswell to the firm tomorrow.

I can of course drink as much alcohol as I want, it is just that I will be embarresed if I get drunk when I have a cop for neighbour. Feel ashamed. Time will tell what happens, I will probably drink anyway 8)

Yes you can't drink because you are on antibiotics I assume. Sorry to hear you have gotten sick again, let's hope it doesn't last long :)

^Oh, now I understand. I thought there was some rule or something you'd be violating. Glad that's not the case.

No, I can't drink alcohol because the doctors are running liver function tests. They can't get a clear result because I've been fighting off whatever this is for quite a while now. They aren't that concerned and can't do very much, but they have to check to make sure. They even checked my lymph nodes in my neck, which turned out to be normal. I saw an ear, nose, and throat specialist earlier in the week who said that the next step would be for my regular doctor to test for all sorts of viruses and such, but again, nothing serious. Little did we know I'd feel a lot worse this weekend.

^Oh, ok. I can understand it if you are a little concerned then. Although usually it turnes out to be nothing serious for young people like you. Since the doctors aren't very concerned either, that is a good sign to.

Cool. :) Meanwhile, I'll just post or text people when I feel up to it, so I don't have to talk. Again. Oh well.

Oh, I saw Logan with some friends recently. If you want a happy movie, don't see Logan. It's way more sad than I expected for an X-Men movie. The next movie I want to see is Hidden Figures whenever it's out on DVD/Netflix.
