Would you get a puppy or a rescue dog?

lol that's a perfect reason to commemorate it! And it definitely wouldn't be a ghost thread, I'd make sure it wouldn't.

Without you there wouldn't be the ferret thread!

And I wouldn't be here, but would be studying, as I should. Damn Lucretius, who gave him the writing license lol

Would get a puppy and train myself for search and rescue as well as sniffing ambergris on the beaches... Many people each year get lost on the tracks here.. Even our own mountain where i live has had a number of search and rescue call outs the last few years.. Not many in that field as far as land base goes so would be nice to have a companion that can help also

I don't wanna go to college though, AAAAAAAA. 8O I mean still, I'm just going for an orientation program, so classes don't start for another week, but AAAAA. :pale:

How dafuq am I gonna make friends? I can't even friggin' talk. :silent: Like, literally.

I can't even venture into a big crowd of people without getting overloaded, so how the heck am I s'posed to do this?

That sounds like a fine goal.

You will cope with things as they unfold and as they present themselves.
And why do you think you need to talk to make friends?
I presume you will have some assistance on the autism program?
Will you have some accomodations?

Colleges must be quite different in other countries.
I've only ever been to a technical college.

E-mail is worse than talking. 8O

No, but there is a very good and structured autism program, which is one of the reasons I wanted to go there. :)

Well, thats a good thing Lillikoi as they will already be aware of some of the sensory difficulties you face. Might take some time but when you become more familiar with your surroundings there, things may become a little easier to open up... I remember when i went to my second boarding school.. I sat mute on a concrete parking post for 5 hours.. Couldn't move or talk to anyone...

I cant deny it will be a little nerve racking for you when you arrive there but the same will likely be going through the minds of many of the other students also :D

Because that's the only way I've made friends before? Not to sound pessimistic...

Yeah, the autism program folks help you coordinate with the teachers and people in disability services. And I've got note-takers for all my classes, so I'm good on that front.

It is certainly more well-organized than the hoopla that was my high school. >_>
