Sweet I almost qualify. Need to finish my degree and then find work in Canada after that and I'd be in. Not sure what it means by "Canadian work experience", time spent in Canada working with a visa or do they accept just Work Experience anywhere if it meets certain Canadian standards.

All hypothetical of course, I'd only run for the hills if Republicans win the election and then proceed to go on a Crusade for Christian values ruling greater America. Even then though, I'd only be living in Canada with permanent residence, it would still take 5 years I think before official citizenship is granted, so I could return to America if I so choose after that 4 year disaster.

how do you know it will only last 4 years? how do you know they won't somehow make it permanent?

Oh no! Not again!
What's "greater America"? You'd "go on a crusade for Christian values"?
Canada went through this with the VietNam draft and we were very patient indeed.
You're not proposing to change our name? or our values?

He's actually running away from the Crusade for Christian Values.

He believes Canada is beyond the Republican's sway.
