Why do people get paranoid about leaving a burning candle unattended? If it was about to catch fire, the trip switch would just blow the power out. Duh!

(Alternative dumb post about a candle):-

I had to phone in sick this morning, because I had lit a candle and couldn't go out to work all day with a burning candle unattended. I hope it has burned out by tomorrow though, I can't afford to miss another day of work...
