BTW. The weirdest thing about my food is - I like everything sour.
If something tastes bad I add some citric acid or vinegar and it's good.
Most food is not sour enough for me. That's why I have trouble eating in restaurants.

I also like to add sauce to my food - but I don't like dressings bought in shops. I make my own. Out of sour cream or plain yogurt and vinegar or citric acid.

Me? I think so. Or it might have been just regular black licorice. Either way, I hated it.

Cauliflower makes better rice than rice.

Thinly spread Marmite plus butter on toast is heaven.

I'm surprised. I would've thought being in the US there would be online stores selling food from all over the world. In England they now sell American sweets everywhere really cheaply, and their other groceries.

IMO Marmite tastes way better than Vegemite.

I remember *years* ago when I was a kid, I used to send and receive sweets and snacks from people around the world. It was really fun. I used to give my address out, just like that. I got all sorts of things from different people. I really miss it. I mean, the internet wasn't especially safe back then and a couple of paedophiles tried their luck on me, but otherwise it was great fun.

I don't like hot drinks without a lot of milk, even herbal tea.

Baking is inefficient. I once saw a video about making a banana pie with a cheery statement about how "you'll get more fruit in your diet!" I was thinking "instead of getting it through all the sugar, taking the time to make it, and paying for all the ingredients, why not just....BUY FRUIT?!"

Rich people don't know how to eat. A tiny portion of a gross fungus a pig routs around in the poopy soil for with red wine drizzled on top is NOT gourmet. Neither is the $300 1" square of cheesecake.

Also, a person doesn't need to eat the most well-known/seasonal/popular/etc. food for occasion or restaurant. Heard of somebody not liking barbecue sauce around the 4th of July (Independence Day in the USA), but if there's plenty of different foods to pick from at a picnic or something, just get what you want and avoid what you don't. Usually, it's only a problem when other people make it a problem. (obviously excluding medical conditions, allergies, etc.)

Likewise, I love Red Robin, but I don't think I've ever had one of their burgers. I don't care for meat that much (sometimes I'll try to get turkey or chicken), but since there's a lot of good stuff to choose from, who cares if it's burgers that they're most known for?
