Someone did that to-day, at the SF Main Library, jumping from, apparently, the 2nd floor above the main/ground floor, an indoor ~ Hyatt-type open court ~ onto a marble floor. I heard the noise, didn't see it, wondered if it was a gun, someone said " no ".
I walked out to see it, a man was on the floor, still alive, blood was on the floor :( .
After thhat, I was shooed out of the library, as was everyone else, it closed for a while.
To get my 2nd and last 1-hour dose of computer time for the day, I rode the bus waayy into the 4000 block of the Mission to find the only other library I know of with computers.
This will definitely make me misssupper at the shelter and it'll make me later?? than I've ever been and might I not be let in tonight??
Last night, when I took my shoes off, there was slight bleeding on my right foot, which I washed off and went to bed, but there was a trifle of new bloodstains on the sheet. I just have to walk too much.
The library computer is really essentially my only computer access, with my phone gone.
Thereiis even wi-fi at the shelter, so if I had a DECENT PHONE, ETC., i COULD USE IT...BUT :| (I don't have time to re-letter that miscapitalization, I'm sorry.) I will have sufficient dough in a week to get another phone.
I have delayed getting the new suit jacket and underwear I need. I have some cash on me, but nothing new will come for a week.
I tend to over-romanticize being " really, truly " HL when I'm not.
Anyway ~ Do I know clickbait headers or what?

...Enter " San Francisco Mail Library Jump " (I did, though not in that order. :) ) and you'll find the same as of yesterday basic story from several media outlets about this.
